Quiz Corner ("the app", "we", "us") is an offline-first exam preparation app built by Wasdev Solanki. This Privacy Policy applies to the Quiz Corner mobile app (package com.wasdevsolanki.quizcorner) and describes how we handle your information when you use it.
Quiz Corner is designed to work fully offline. Creating an account is optional — you can practice questions, take mock tests, and review your history entirely on your device without ever registering.
If you choose to create an account, we collect your name, email address, and contact number. This is used only to identify your account and is not required to use the app's core features.
The app stores your quiz sessions, scores, answers, and bookmarks locally on your device so you can review your history and progress. If you have an account, a summary of this activity (session results and streaks) may be synced to our server on a best-effort basis to keep your progress backed up.
We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data. The app does not use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs at this time.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Most of what Quiz Corner does happens entirely on your device. Questions, your answer history, mock test configurations, and bookmarks are stored in a local database on your phone and are never transmitted anywhere unless you have an account and are connected to the internet, in which case a summary syncs in the background.
Account passwords are hashed and are never stored in plain text on our servers, and the app itself never stores your password on your device. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app. Synced account data is retained on our server for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion.
Quiz Corner is intended for users preparing for competitive/civil-service-style exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
